In 1962, Ross Perot Senior started Electronic Data Systems (EDS). Over the next 22 years, he built EDS into one of the world's largest technology services firms. He sold EDS in 1984 to General Motors for $2.5 billion.

In 1988, he founded a new technology services company, Perot Systems Corporation. He served as Chief Executive Officer until 1992 and again from 1997 until 2000, helping take the company public in 1999. Mr. Perot served as Chariman of the Board until 2004, when he was elected Chairman Emeritus.

Mr. Perot has received numerous awards and honors, including the Winston Churchill Award, the Raoul Wallenberg Award, the National Business Hall of Fame Award, the Eisenhower Award and the Horatio Alger Award.

Ross Perot Junior is Chairman of Hillwood Development Corporation, which he founded in 1988. Hillwood is ranked among the top 10 developers in the United States and is recognised for its high-profile projects and public-private ventures that bring tremendous value to its customers and partners. Hillwood Development Corporation is the parent company to Hillwood International Energy.

In addition, Ross Perot Junior serves as Chairman of the Board of Perot Systems Corporation. Named chairman in September 2004, he spent the previous four years as the company's president and CEO and has served on the Perot Systems Board of Directors since its founding in 1988.
