The foundation of our values has remained rock steady
Hillwood International Energy marries the Perot family's long-time experience in the oil and gas business with the integrity and value-added services for customers and partners that are a Perot company trademark.

The family's involvement in oil and gas exploration goes back many years. In the 1970s, Petrus Oil Company drilled extensively throughout the United States, developing significant oil and gas reserves. The family was an initial investor in Merit Energy Company, which operates over 11,000 wells across the United States, and it has also participated in wildcat exploration projects around the world in partnership with Hunt Oil.

A global energy success story
Our recent history continues the pattern of growth and success in global energy. Over the last 15 years Hillwood has successfully operated and produced in the harsh, climatic conditions in Russia. More recently the organization began a gas drilling program at its 17,000-acre AllianceTexas development in the largest gas field in the United States, the Barnett Shale, in North Texas in 2002.

Today, we are a major player in this trend and we continue to pursue growth opportunities, as well as cultivate synergies with other Perot entities, including Perot Systems and Hillwood Development Company.

While our business has grown, our foundation of values has remained rock steady. Hillwood takes great pride in providing economic development and jobs in a safe environment, for employees and neighbors, while adapting to the customs and cultures that are an intricate part of the local community.
